Muhammad Dele Belgore SAN

Became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2001 at the age of 40, one of a few to have been conferred with that coveted rank at that age. Born, London, England, 25th June 1961; LL.B (Hons) Hull University England, 1983; LL.M, Bristol University, England, 1984; Called to Nigerian Bar, 1985. Legal Officer in Nigerian Merchant Bank Limited 1985 – 1986; Counsel in Chief Rotimi Williams’ Chambers 1986 – 1989. Founding member and partner in Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe & Belgore (Legal Practitioners) 1989 – to date. Notary Public, 1997. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) since March 1997 and an approved tutor of that Institute who lectures widely on arbitration in Nigeria and abroad. Member of the International Bar Association (IBA), Nigerian Maritime Law Association, Nigerian Insurance Law Association and the Institute of Directors (IOD)
